Gaudi: Casa Batlló

We visited Gaudi's Casa Batlló. It was actually an amazingly cool building, but the curators are godawful. The audioguide (free with overpriced ticket) was awful, and full of badly-written nonsense.

Anyway, here's Liz being annoyed by the audioguide in a beautiful room.

This internal courtyard's tiles get darker as they go up. This means that despite the fact that there is more light at the top, the tiles all APPEAR to be the same color from the inside.

Freaky weirdness. Gaudi was a nuttier than a fruitcake.

Here's the internal view of the same 2nd floor windows.
